Tommy was in Singapore last week. It was another last minute trip. It was probably the best business trip for me and the boys though! It was only 6 days (Singapore is soooo far away! He had to be gone 6 full days to only work 3 days) and I was able to stay positive the whole time. I was proud of how well it went this time. The boys were so good!
Tommy returned home Friday night but then still had to be gone all day Saturday for the Priest/Laurel Conference. That night as I was putting B to bed he asked, "Mom, is Daddy coming over for breakfast?" When I told Tommy he said, "noooooooo! No more travel! Daddy LIVES here!!" It broke Tommy's heart. That little boy just adores his dad and is so happy he's back. Tommy has worked from home several days since he returned and that makes us all happy.
Bradley wore one of Tommy's shirts to bed several times.
Facetiming with my mom and the cousins she was with. :)
We are all feeling done with the long trips though. Tommy hates being away so long and it is exhausting for me. It's interesting to see how it effects Bradley. Lately when he plays "going to work" and I ask him where he works he tells me, "Singapore", "Geneva", or "Australia" and he is always asking for "Tokyo bananas" or "Geneva chocolate". Haha. What 3 year old even knows about all these places??Tommy returned home Friday night but then still had to be gone all day Saturday for the Priest/Laurel Conference. Bradley started swimming lessons at a swim school. It is awesome and going so well! He's only had 2 lessons and has already improved a lot. yay!
I did something a little out of character and hosted a Mary Kay party. It was actually a really fun night with some of my closest friends here. :)
Sunday we had the Smiths, Barrons, and Stices over for dinner. The Smiths are moving back to Utah (sad!) so we all got together. We did homemade Cafe Rio salads and it was delicious! What great friends! We are really going to miss the Smiths. Tuesday we had our last playgroup with them. ![]()
Hailee and I took our kids on a fun walk and park play date last week.
Other than that we have had our normal playing around the house, play dates, and errands. Bradley and Rhys wrestling. Funny boys.
Bradley's "car train"
This baby LOVES water! I put him in the sink one day to keep him happy while trying to get dinner ready. I love all that chub!
